The Dominion Valley Sharks Swim Team will be hosting the 2nd Annual “Shark Bite 300” Benefit Triathlon Event. Benefiting: The American Cancer Society and The Autism Society of Northern Virginia The event will be held on Sunday June 2nd, 2013 in the parking lot of the Dominion Valley Athletic Center and will be limited to 300 contestants. The triathlon event itself will consist of 3 segments of varying lengths determined by age group – a swimming segment, a bike ride and a run. The race will start and finish in the Athletic Center parking lot. Timing will be automated with the use of a computerized chip timing system. Registration fee includes an event tee shirt, all refreshments and prizes Awards will be provided for each age group and gender Automated chip timing service provided by Tri Performance LLC (www.Tri-Performance.com) The race will begin at 8:00 am for the 15 and over age group, followed by the 11-14’s and then the 7-10’s. Registration fees: $40 for 7-10 age group $45 for 11-14 age group $50 for 15+ age group $100 for Team Registration
